Earth Day 2025 takes place on Tuesday 22 April, celebrating 55 years of raising awareness of green and climate change issues and causes.

192 countries and over one billion people around the globe are expected to participate, so here are a few ideas for positive action your business can take to support green issues.

Our Power, Our Planet

This year’s Earth Day has the theme of ‘Our Power, Our Planet’ and aims to encourage global support for the adoption of renewable energy and a tripling in the amount of global clean energy generation by 2030. That’s a big goal, but you can play your part.

We’ve highlighted five ways you can support Earth Day and make your business more sustainable.

Promote sustainable practices and awareness

Dedicate Earth Day to highlighting your company's existing sustainable practices and educating your staff and customers about environmental issues in your local area.

You can share tips on reducing waste, conserving energy and supporting local eco-friendly initiatives. Share sustainability tips through your internal communications, social media or in-store displays, and help to raise awareness and encourage positive change.
